Inter-library Loans and Multicultural bulk loan requests

Inter-library Loans

It may be possible to obtain resources not listed on our Library Catalogue from another lending library through our Inter-library loans service.

A $10.25 fee applies for any requested item that we are able to source from another Public Library.

Any item only available at special libraries, such as a university or other Academic Library, will incur a higher cost. If this is the case, you will be contacted and the request will only be sent to the University or Special Library if you agree to their quoted fee.

The lending library determines the length of the loan, including any associated lending and damage/replacement fees.

Renewals may be possible depending on the lending library.

Items that can be obtained include books, articles, DVDs, CDs and community language material.

Generally, items published recently, within the last two years, may not be available to request as an Inter-Library Loan. A suggestion for purchase can be made on recently published titles, within the scope of the Collection Management Policy.

To place an inter-library loan request, please fill in the ILL request form
