Macquarie Regional Library provides free, one-on-one, tech help sessions to help improve patrons’ confidence with using technology and to further develop their digital skills.
Services Offered:
- Tech Courses: Be Connected and GCF Learn Free databases
- Mobile Printing: Assistance with using our mobile printing service
- eResources: Accessing and using library databases and apps
- Email Help: Attaching files, downloading/saving emails, printing documents
- App Assistance: Downloading, deleting, and organising apps on phones
- Phone Guidance: Sending messages, making calls, managing silent mode
- Basic Computer Guidance: basic functions, saving photos from phone, word processing
- Basic Safety and Scam Awareness: Be Connected database
Services NOT Provided:
- Passport applications, banking assistance, grant submissions, PC repairs, virus removal, device setup, advice on service providers and/or plans as well as how to answer questions on online forms.
Note: Our aim is to help patrons to the best of our abilities, however, we are not technical experts and our assistance has limits.
Dubbo Library provides one-on-one 45-minute sessions during the school term at the following session times:
Tuesdays 2 pm or 3 pm | Thursdays 10 am or 11 am
