What is Coding?

Coding is the language that tells a computer what to do. When we write code for a computer we are telling it exactly what we want to happen. Coding provides the ability to not only understand and enjoy technology, but to use that technology to create!

Why Code Club?

Code Club introduces children to a fun and simple program called Scratch. This program allows children to design their own animations or games. Scratch and other coding languages help young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.
