Macquarie Regional Library has a collection of research material housed in the Local Studies Rooms located in the Dubbo and Narromine libraries.
While each library also holds a core collection of reference materials relating to the history of that region. 

Dubbo Local Studies Room 
Opening hours: Tuesday to Thursday 10am to 1pm. Appointments can be made outside of these times if required.

Narromine Local Studies Room
Opening Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11am to 5pm. Manned by the Narromine History Group


Donations

The library is continuing to develop the Local Studies Collection. If you have materials that relate to the history of the region which you would like to donate to the library please contact the library on 02 6801 4501.
