Read and Play Programs
The library provides support to reading programs throughout the year to help improve reading skills and foster a love of literature in the young.
SUMMER READING CLUB
PREMIER'S READING CHALLENGE
The library also has special collections for developing readers -
EASY READERS for children aged 5-7 years who have commenced formal instruction for reading at school. These books are a bit like home readers from school. (Gold sticker).
JIR JUNIOR INDEPENDENT READERS are the next level and most junior primary school students will be able to read these without help. (Frog sticker)
The library holds many events for children throughout the year to keep their minds stimulated.

CODE CLUB Learn how to create animations, games and more with Scratch, a programming language for beginners
FUN ZONE Craft, art and fun for school children
LEGO CLUB Free play for school aged children with the library's HUGE collection of Lego
GAMEZ CLUB Book and board games for youth over 12 years
SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS Crafts, games, workshops, performances and lots of fun for children aged 5-12
